Frequently asked questions
My alerts are not arriving
- Open the iPhone Settings app, tap Notifications, then Goalkeeper. Make sure Allow Notifications is on and Lock Screen, Notification Center and Banners are selected.
- Check Focus in Control Center or in Settings. If a Focus such as Do Not Disturb or Sleep is on, add Goalkeeper to its allowed apps or turn the Focus off.
- In Goalkeeper, open the team or competition and check that the alert you expect (for example goals or kickoff) is switched on for that follow.
- Goalkeeper's own Settings screen shows whether notifications are allowed and links straight to the right iOS page.
My Live Activity is not updating
Low Power Mode can delay Live Activity updates. Also check iPhone Settings > Goalkeeper > Live Activities and make sure Live Activities and More Frequent Updates are both on.
How do I restore my Premium purchase?
Open Goalkeeper, go to Settings and tap Restore Purchases. Use the same Apple Account you bought Premium with. Subscriptions are managed in your Apple Account settings, not in the app.
How do I delete my data?
Open Goalkeeper, go to Settings and tap Delete my data, then confirm. This deletes your device record, follows and alert settings from our server. The privacy policy lists everything we store.
What does "Scores only" mean?
For a few competitions, currently Serie A Women and the FA Cup, our data provider sends the score and match status but not scorers, cards or lineups. For these competitions you get kickoff, goal (with the new score), half-time and full-time alerts, but no scorer names, red card or VAR alerts, or lineups. The app marks these competitions "Scores only".
